Shared lists

Requests other people have deliberately shared with you, and the ones you have shared with them — a way to give visibility without giving somebody a decision to make.

  2. Empty state — nobody has shared a request with you yet.

How to…

Share a request

Open the request and use CC. The person you copy in can read the request and follow its progress, and it appears in their copied-to-me list and here.

Notes

  • Sharing does not change the approval chain, and it does not speed anything up.
  • Use it for the people who need to know rather than the people who need to act — finance watching a large purchase, for example.
  • Sharing is per request. To give somebody standing visibility of a whole process, make them the process manager on the template.
