Public holidays

The company's calendar of non-working days. Attendance uses it so nobody is marked absent on a public holiday, and leave uses it so a holiday inside a leave period is not deducted from the balance.

The screen

1. Page title — holiday management: the holiday calendar and make-up days. The year picker (2025, 2026, 2027), the Month calendar / List switch and Create default holiday calendar sit on the same row.
2. Add holiday — adds one day (or a range) by hand.
3. Counters — total holidays, national holidays, company holidays, and make-up working days.

The twelve months of the chosen year are drawn underneath, with the marked days highlighted. Select a marked day to edit or remove it.

Kinds of day

Kind	Meaning
National holiday	Statutory, applies to everyone
Company holiday	Your own closure day, for example an anniversary
Make-up working day	A normally non-working day that is worked to bridge a long weekend

How to…

Set up a new year

1. Choose the year.
2. Select Create default holiday calendar to seed the statutory days.
3. Add your own closure days with Add holiday, and mark any make-up working days.
4. Check the counters at the top — they are the quickest sanity check that nothing is duplicated.

Correct a mistake

Select the day on the calendar and edit or delete it. Changes apply from that moment; attendance already evaluated for a past day is only rewritten when you recalculate timesheets.

Notes

• The month headings on the calendar are not translated yet and still read in Vietnamese, in the usual January-to-December order.
• A make-up working day is the opposite of a holiday: people are expected in, and absence is counted normally.
• Holidays are company-wide. If sites in different regions observe different days, record the union and handle the exceptions with leave.
